At Moorhead Heating & Air, we are very proud of our company history and the ways in which we have grown. Moorhead Refrigeration Service was established January 1, 1956, by James Melvin Moorhead and was located on East North Avenue. Moorhead Refrigeration served the Anderson, South Carolina, area in residential and commercial refrigeration. A few years later Moorhead Refrigeration branched out into the heating and air conditioning field. As the business grew, more space was needed.

In 1970, Moorhead Refrigeration Service moved from the East North Avenue location to our current location at 305 McGee Road. The company now goes by Moorhead Heating & Air Conditioning and is devoted to the sales, service, and installation of heating and air conditioning equipment for residential jobs. We no longer service refrigeration equipment. We have also expanded the scope of our business to now include all types of gas products and accessories.

We are the second oldest heating and air conditioning company in Anderson, South Carolina. Moorhead Heating & Air is still owned by the same family that started the business in 1956 and is operated by three generations. Since the company was started, it has been our main goal to always try to put the customer first and foremost. We believe that without customers, a business can not exist. Many loyal customers have been with us since the beginning. It is our guarantee that customers will receive more for their money with Moorhead Heating & Air than with any other company.
